Wellness Report Card
Each fall, Fayette County Public Schools produces a Wellness Report Card that describes nutrition programs and physical activity in schools across the district. The report outlines initiatives to improve cafeteria offerings, provide more opportunities for students to try fresh fruits and vegetables, increase Farm to School efforts, and encourage more physical activity. After a period of community feedback, the overview and districtwide goals are submitted to the school board for approval in late January.
- Dec. 20 – deadline for community feedback
- 4 p.m. Jan. 27 – public hearing in Conference Room C at central office, 701 E. Main St.
- 6 p.m. Jan. 27 – Wellness Report Card & Plan submitted during the board’s action meeting in Norsworthy Auditorium
