NTI/2DL intro

Non-Traditional Instruction/Differentiated Distance Learning

NTI refers to Non-Traditional Instruction, or distance learning online. Watch for direct communications from TCMS with details and clarifications about your students' remote learning.

The Fayette County Board of Education voted unanimously to implement “NTI - 2DL: Differentiated Distance Learning” to start the 2020-21 academic year. The reopening task force did extensive work to ensure that the second round of NTI is more engaging, more robust, and consistently implemented across schools at all grade levels. In addition, Fayette County Public Schools has purchased a shared online curriculum, selected a consistent virtual learning platform, and invested in 1:1 technology districtwide.
