Congratulations to the Academies of Bryan Station High School!
Bryan Station is the first FCPS traditional high school and 9th school to earn the national U.S. Department of Education's National Green Ribbon School award, which was presented on Earth Day 2021 in a testament to many years of extraordinary student/staff commitment to environmental literacy, building efficiency, and student/staff wellness.
From building energy audits and water quality assessments to maintaining a shared Outdoor Classroom with Bryan Station Middle School, BSHS leads the district in myriad student-driven sustainability improvement initiatives, including planting 155 trees during Earth Week 2021 Reforest the Bluegrass @ Home.
Join us in congratulating Sustainability Coordinator Leslie Campbell, student advocate Victoria Lowe (Class of ’21), and the entire BSHS faculty, staff, and students.
