During Fall 2020 NTI, over 30 school student SEE KY Green Teams earned up to $150 to be reinvested into student-driven sustainability improvement projects by examining Lexington's unique challenges with stormwater quality, paper recycling, urban tree canopy removal, carbon footprint, invasive species in our local nature preserves and more.  During It's About Sustainability's 45-minute Zoom lesson, students During the interactive exploration, students analyze energy data for their own school, interpret graphs on water quality and design solutions for their homes, neighborhoods, school and city.
Schools earned additional $150 Go Green + Earn Green by partnering with one of the 20+ Environmental Education community partners who migrated resources, lessons, activities and tours online for seamless NTI transition.
