Pre-ordered meal pickups available for students still in remote learning

Each week, Fayette County Public Schools is contacting households that have students learning remotely through NTI/2DL or the Virtual Learning Academy (VLA). The email includes a link to pre-order student meals and select a pickup location; the deadline is 8 p.m. on Sundays. The food is available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at the selected site. There will be no meal service during Spring Break. For questions, please call (859) 381-3846.

Reminder: All meals free for all students

Under a federal waiver during the COVID-19 pandemic, all meals are free for all students for the rest of the 2020-21 school year -- whether in the cafeterias or via pickup while still in remote learning.

Community alternatives

The nonprofit Employment Solutions, an FCPS community partner, continues to offer free meals for ages 18 and younger. This schedule and distribution locations are subject to change: Community meals

Another nonprofit partner also provides meals. Visit the FoodChain website for details or call (859) 428-8380.
