Free meals for youth available through summer 2020

Fayette County Public Schools, God’s Pantry Food Bank, and Employment Solutions participate in the “Kids Eat” Summer Food Service Program, which provides free meals for all children age 18 and younger. Starting June 8, meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis at designated locations, dates, and times regardless of where the youth live or attend school.

This federal USDA program, which helps fill the nutrition gap when school is out, provides the same service regardless of a child’s race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. For questions, contact Michelle Coker, director of Child Nutrition in FCPS, at (859) 381-3846.
