Eastside & Southside Excel in SkillsUSA Region 9 Competition
Students in the SkillsUSA chapters at Eastside and Southside technical centers represented Fayette County Public Schools well in the 2023 Region 9 contests, held during the week of Feb. 13-17 at several locations.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure our country has a skilled workforce. As a nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle school, high school, and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations.
In Kentucky, Region 9 includes Fayette, Woodford, Jessamine, Scott, Clark, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicolas counties.
