For Black History Month, Fayette County Public Schools is sponsoring an “Honoring Black Excellence” Visual & Performing Arts Showcase. The evening will feature more than 100 talented students from across the district, including 20 live acts and an art gallery with more than three dozen pieces. Performances and displays will cover visual arts, digital arts, dance, singing, music, poetry, and spoken word. You can also check out the “We Wear the Mask: Black Superheroes through the Ages” exhibit.

When: 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18; doors open at 5:15 p.m.
