Job Fair Seeks Applicants for Substitute Teacher & Paraeducator

Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) will host a job fair from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, to help recruit substitute teachers and paraeducators for our classrooms. If interested, please stop by the John D. Price Administration Building (450 Park Place) to learn more about open positions and benefits, receive assistance with your online application, and complete on-site interviews.

Substitute teachers and paraeducators are critically important to our schools and make it possible to provide a positive learning environment for all students. If interested in applying at the job fair, bring your proof of identification, Social Security card, high school diploma or college transcript, and any relevant certifications. 

  • Substitute applicants must provide proof of 64 college credit hours and a 2.5 GPA.
  • Prospective paraeducators must provide proof of 48 college credit hours or pass a paraeducator exam.
