The Henry Clay dance team took first place in the Game Day division of the 2021 KHSAA State Dance Championships on Dec. 12 in Winchester. Lafayette was a close runner-up in Pom and finished third in the Jazz group.
In other FCPS action, Paul Laurence Dunbar also competed in Jazz, while Henry Clay and Frederick Douglass teams participated in Pom.
