Dear Henry Clay High School Families,

Filled with mixed emotions, I am writing to inform you I will be resigning from my position as Head Principal at Henry Clay High School on June 30, 2023. My time at Henry Clay High School has been incredibly wonderful. I served the Henry Clay High School community as an associate principal for 11 years prior to assuming the head principalship, which I have held for 7 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and all the families I have served for the past 18 years at Henry Clay. It truly has been an honor.

The decision to leave Henry Clay was not an easy one to make, but an opportunity has presented itself that will allow me to continue to serve the families of Fayette County Public Schools on a much wider scale. My new role will be principal on special assignment. I will be providing administrative assistance to schools across the district that need extra support.

I hope to maintain my relationship with the Henry Clay High School community. I will be forever grateful for being welcomed into this family and given the opportunity to learn and grow as an educator and as a man.
