Resources and Information for Students & Families

  • For Anthem members experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessnessAnthem Medicaid has recently launched their Kentucky Housing Flex Fund program. Anthem Kentucky Housing Flex Fund is a flexible pool of funds that can be used to help pay for expenses that will lead to greater housing stability for Anthem Medicaid members who are either at-risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness throughout Kentucky. The funds can cover an array of one-time or limited housing related expenses with the goal of either supporting a Member to remain housed or assisting them with accessing permanent housing. Some examples of expenses members have been assisted with thus far include security deposits, rental arrears, rental assistance, utility arrears, and move-in items. Please reach out to Bethany Fomby (Bethany.fomby2@anthem.com) the SDoH Program Administrator for Anthem Medicaid KY if you would like more information.

FAMU IS BACK!!!

Each year the Office of Equity, School Support and Community Engagement hosts a program called Family University.

The goal of Family University is to help families explore opportunities to

  • support students' learning at home from cradle to career
  • to provide enriching activities for our students to promote career readiness
  • highlight community resources that provide support for academic achievement outside of the classroom

This year, we’re taking FamU to a virtual platform! Each month we will update and highlight various resources on our bilingual website to share information with our families to support the continued pursuit of academic excellence at home.

  • Please share this information with your families. Click here to access the website for more information
