Fourth grade girls had a unique cultural experience this month! Two Cassidy moms explained the cultural and religious background of Hijabs, a traditional head covering worn all over the world, including the United States. Some of our students were even able to try on a hijab! Boys did not get to come this time due to the private nature of head coverings. Our girls ask thoughtful, insightful questions. It was a great group of kind, caring, intelligent children. If you have a 4th grade girl at home be sure to ask her all about it.
Special thanks to our presenters, Hanee Abdulkhudhvr and Noor Alattar!
