Freshmen Orientation 2021

Freshmen Orientation 2021

Welcome Class of 2025,

Future Broncos, we are excited to have you join us on an exciting adventure that is high school. To help prepare you for your experience, we will have a Freshmen Orientation on July 26th from 1:00-3:30. During this time you will learn about the many things we have to offer here at Frederick Douglass. If you have not already registered, please visit our website and take a moment to do so. If you are not able to attend on Monday, we will offer a program called Destination Douglass that is scheduled for Saturday, August 7th from 8:30 until 12:30. Please email me at or Michael Allen at to express interest in attending this event. All freshmen attending Frederick Douglass will also receive Chromebooks, and you’ll receive more information about this soon.

For those attending Monday the 26th you may begin arriving at 12:45. Parents/Guardians please drop off students at our cafeteria entrance. Students will be directed to the auditorium where we will begin at 1:00. The program will end at 3:30, and pick-up will be at our front entrance. Please use the Meeting Street entrance for arrival. A map for drop-off and pick-up is attached.

As a reminder this is for students only. A parent Open House will be scheduled for a later date. Masks are required for students not vaccinated. If you are vaccinated, masks are optional.

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2025!
