Theater students earn Best Newcomer award at state festival

The Kentucky Theatre Association’s 2019 high school festival and play competition featured a dozen top entries from across the Commonwealth. In its first trip to state, Frederick Douglass won Best Newcomer honors with its production of “Antigone” under the direction of teacher Jason Meenach. The judges also selected Tanner Peck for the All-Star Cast.
