Ms. Campbell Receives Green Ribbon Reward in DC

Engineering Academy's Leslie Campbell travelled to Washington DC last week to receive the Green Ribbon Schools Award for The Academies of Bryan Station! The award recognizes schools that reduced environmental impact and cost, improved health and wellness, and effective environmental and sustainability education.

There were only 3 traditional public high schools in the nation to earn the distinction in 2021!

Keynote speakers included: Brenda Mallory, 1st African American to serve as the white house council on environmental quality chair; Rosemary Enobakhare, Associate Administrator for public engagement and environmental education at the U.S. EPA; Cynthia Marten, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.

Bryan Station is so proud of Ms. Campbell, the Green Team, and the work they have put in to make all of this possible!
