SBDM Parent Representatives for 2019-2020
Are you looking for a way to serve your child’s school? Consider being a parent representative on the Bryan Station High School Site Based Decision Making Council!
Qualifications: A parent council member shall be a parent, stepparent, foster parent or legal guardian of a student attending the school during the council member’s term of office. A parent is ineligible if he/she is an employee or a relative of an employee (father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, son-in-law and daughter-in-law) of that school or for the district central office, or a local school board member or the spouse of a school board member.
The Site Based Decision Making council is the governing body for this school. It determines school policy for curriculum, staffing, discipline, scheduling, instructional practices, extra-curricular activities and other matters pertinent to the operation of the school.
4 Parents, 6 Teachers, 1 Classified Staff and 1 Principal serve on our council.
Terms of office are from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.

Bryan Station High School – Health and P.E. – Summer 2019
**Students will take PE at BSHS AND will take health independently through e-school.
Summer P.E. Session at BSHS
June 5th thru June 18th
8:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m.– Lunch
12:00 p.m.—3:30 p.m.
**Please note: Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.

Payment and Registration Dates
Registration at BSHS – April 23rd from 8 am – 10 am outside the front office by law enforcement. Registration forms and Payment are required at the time of registration.
** Payment should be made with two separate payments at the SAME TIME**
- Payment must be made in the form of Cash, Certified Check, or Money Order.
- Make payment for Health to MLK Academy AND 2. Make payment for PE to FCPS
- If you are on paid lunch, the cost is $160.00 for PE and $125.00 for Health.
- If you are on reduced lunch, the cost is $100.00 for PE and $80.00 for Health.
- If you are on free lunch, the cost is $75.00 for PE and $60.00 for Health.

This years prom will be held on Saturday, April 20th beginning at 8 pm at the Hilton in downtown Lexington! Prom is open to 11th and 12th grade students of BSHS. If you have a guest who is not an 11th or 12th grade student at BSHS, they must have a permission slip in order to be sold a ticket. Click here to download a copy of the prom permission slip. Prom permission slips must be turned in before we dismiss for spring break-- no exceptions will be made. Prom permission slips are no longer being accepted as it is past the deadline.
4/8 - 4/12: $45 for single and $80 for a couple
4/15 - 4/18: $80 for single and $100 for a couple
And as always, if you have been suspended at any point during 2nd semester, you will not be permitted to attend prom. No exceptions will be made.
