This summer, FCPS will be hosting Summer Ignite, a free summer enrichment program across the district. Summer Ignite 2021 at STEAM Academy will focus on the theme “Star of

Each session will adopt a reality television show: the Amazing Race, America’s Got Talent, and Survivor. Between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., students will rotate between activity stations and enjoy a free breakfast and lunch. Teachers will structure the rotations and develop hands-on engaging activities and projects to build problem solving skills, critical thinking, math, reading, writing, and science skills.
