Leadership Lexington is an educational opportunity and leadership development program that broadens perspectives and enables participants to better understand community dynamics and public issues. The 2024-25 class of 50 individuals with varied backgrounds includes two employees of Fayette County Public Schools:
- Eamonn FitzGerald, family/community liaison in our Department of Early Childhood Education, and
- Leo Ocasio, a program manager in Multilingual and Gifted & Talented Services.

From September and through June, the class will meet in various locations each month to explore government, education, public safety, economic development, the arts, equine industry, diversity, health and human services, and leadership development.
