Student-Athletes to Represent KHSAA at 2026 National Summit

Sixteen student-athletes from across the state, including three from Fayette County Public Schools, have been named to the 2026-27 KHSAA Student Advisory Group. Selected from FCPS are Marcellus Ashford of Bryan Station High, Kate Borders of Tates Creek High, and Ella Dulaney of Frederick Douglass High. 

The group will represent the Kentucky High School Athletic Association at a national summit July 16-19 in Indianapolis. During the free program, the students will talk through relevant and contemporary issues as they hone their leadership skills and learn to effectively and positively influence their peers. 

The KHSAA group will also help plan and carry out the HYPE Student Leadership Conferences scheduled for Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.
