Meadowthorpe Tops Region 20 in 2026 Governor’s Cup

Seven school-based teams from Fayette County Public Schools recently wrapped up the elementary division of the 2026 Governor’s Cup series. (This age group does not compete in the state finals.)

As Kentucky’s premier academic competition, the Governor’s Cup encourages depth and breadth of knowledge, cultural literacy, teamwork, leadership, creativity, risk assessment, and critical thinking. Congratulations to all!
