The annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is our country’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition initiative for creative students (grades 7-12) and the largest source of scholarships for young artists and writers. Fayette County Public Schools is proud to salute several national honorees who emerged in the 2024-25 competition.
Eva Alcaraz-Monje of Lafayette High School led the way, earning the American Voices Medal, a gold medal, and a silver medal for various entries. Lafayette’s Avinash Koul, Pol Marti, and Esme Morris also earned silver.
