Kindergarten Literacy Fair Set for June 26

Fayette County Public Schools and multiple community partners are offering a Kindergarten Literacy Fair to provide families with resources that help prepare children for school. 

• What: Ready, Set, Go … Race to Kindergarten
• When: Friday, June 26, from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Where: Goodwill Opportunity Center parking lot, 130 W. New Circle Road

At this special event, families can pick up free educational materials and supplies for kindergarten. They also can connect with community organizations and learn about local resources to support their child's success in school. In one highlight, a speech-language pathologist will talk about communication development. 

Together, we can ensure that every child starts kindergarten ready to learn and thrive!
