Mandatory orientation is Sept. 5.
High school students (grades 9-12) can participate in a free ACT prep series this fall featuring:
- Pre/post test with feedback (answers and explanations)
- Strategies and practice in all ACT test areas (English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing)
- Resources and materials for continued practice
- Opportunities for ongoing support
The sessions will run two Thursdays a month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Sept. 5, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Dec. 5, and Dec. 12. The Family Connection Center North at Consolidated Baptist Church (1625 Russell Cave Road) is the host location.
Students must have parent/guardian permission to register and then must attend all the sessions. Program supplies and snacks will be provided.
This series is presented by Fayette County Public Schools and the National Center for Families Learning. It is part of the College Awareness Program facilitated by our Department of Family & Community Engagement.
