FCPS Has Guidelines for Students with Medication

If your child needs to take over-the-counter or prescription medication during the school day, it must be kept in the nurse's office and should have a doctor's order if there is no prescription label. You must fill out a medication form for the school's records and talk with the nurse about dosage instructions. 

Note: Any medications not picked up at the end of the school year will be destroyed.
