The foundation does not serve in an advisory capacity to the school district or its board, and therefore has no influence over school district policies, programs, or operations.

Operating independently of FCPS, the foundation cultivates innovations to benefit students and staff and to enhance the mission of the school district. It is a vital partner by:

  • Bridging funding gaps
  • Supporting underserved students
  • Enhancing educational opportunities across the district
