A Frederick Douglass team earned runner-up honors in the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida. The Broncos competed in the Large Varsity Division I Performance category. In other results, Edythe J. Hayes Middle School placed fifth in the Small Junior High Performance group.
