Articulated credit is college credit awarded to students upon enrollment into the college or institution. Students must meet criteria specified in the articulated agreement, which might include some combination of high school courses, industry certifications, CTE end-of-program exams, or specific experiences. It is important for students to know and advocate for these credits because they are not automatic. Students must work with their postsecondary/college adviser to be sure they receive college credit, if they qualify.
