FCPS School Psychologists & Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC)
Fayette County Public Schools employs over 35 school psychologists to support more than 70 schools and other academic programs. Our staff provides comprehensive services aligned with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) practice model to best support our students, families, and schools.
Our APPIC training program helps doctoral-level interns become independent, professional school psychologists. The internship funds two full-time training positions starting in July and lasting 12 months. Interns can expect to receive 2,000 hours of training.
