Autism Support Center

Our mission: Through evidenced-based programming, Fayette County Public Schools will empower and inspire individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to grow and develop their abilities to foster independence, be prepared for college or career, and engage fully in their communities and be ready to excel in a global society.

Strategic Plan:

  • Given annual professional learning and a systemic process for referral and evaluation, Fayette County Public Schools will increase the number of highly qualified personnel evaluating identifying the needs of students with ASD.
  • Given professional learning and tiered levels of coaching and consultation, FCPS will increase the number of teachers and staff implementing evidence -based practices with fidelity for students with autism.
  • Given family networking opportunities and online resources, the team will improve parent perception of the quality of services and support provided to their families as measured by attendance records, feedback forms, and an annual survey.
