School Rezoning

As new schools are built, a working group made up of parents, community partners, district administrators, and school leaders considers changes in attendance boundaries to even out the student population.

With Mary E. Britton Middle School slated to open in August 2025, Davis Demographics is helping the rezoning team devise scenarios to recommend for boundary realignment. Many facets have been discussed this spring, but nothing will be final until the school board votes on the recommended plan this August.

FCPS staff will communicate directly with families affected by possible zoning changes. Please direct any questions to the rezoning team.
