Portfolio:
Students will submit 2 to 3 prepared pieces from any genre.
On-Demand:
The on-demand audition will last 45 minutes in a group setting, administered at the student’s FCPS current school. At that time, students will be given three images/pictures to choose from for an on-demand writing piece. Students can choose to complete on-demand using pencil and paper.
Qualifying Score on Iowa Reading or Profile of Creative Abilities (PCA) Test: In addition, students must have a qualifying score (9th stanine) on one of the following assessments: Iowa Achievement Test in the area of Reading, Profile of Creative Abilities (PCA) test (age 14 or under) or other applicable assessment. The District Recommendation Committee will determine, if needed, appropriate alternative assessment options.
