Group Scenes
Students will work in small groups (2- or 4-person) on a short scene. The GT Resource teacher at your student’s school will help organize students into appropriate groups for this task. Students will have time to choose, prepare and develop their scene physically and vocally with their group. Students will perform the piece (using the script, not memorized).

On-Demand Content-less Scenes
At the audition, students will be provided a 2- or 3-person content-less, open scene that they have not read. Students will have 5–10 minutes to read, think, and explore the piece physically and vocally. Students will establish the given circumstances for the scene with their partner. Where are they? What is their relationship? What is their objective (what they want)? And how are they going to get it (their tactic)? Everyone will do two (2) scenes with different people. Students will then perform the piece (using the script, not memorized).
On-Demand Group Improvisations
Students will be verbally guided through a short improvisational activity in a small group. The performance of the improvisation task will be recorded on video at school.
GT Resource teachers will use the Drama Submission Template - bit.ly/gtdrama-em (E/MS) for submissions.
