District GT Programs

Opportunities available to students across Fayette County Public Schools include the Gifted & Talented Accelerated Program; SCAPA at Bluegrass (grades 4-8); the School for the Creative and Performing Arts at Lafayette High School; the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School; and the Math, Science, and Technology Center (MSTC) at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.

  • For non-FCPS students who live in Fayette County, assessments needed for program eligibility in GTAP, Liberal Arts Academy, and MSTC are offered only during our district's assessment window (Oct. 21 through Nov. 26, 2024). For those interested in SCAPA programs, the auditions needed for eligibility are offered only during our district's audition window (Nov. 1 through Dec. 13, 2024).
