In Fayette County Public Schools, everyone belongs. We hire teachers and staff who represent the diversity of our community, so that each student sees their self represented and feels free to bring their whole self to school.
Our strategic plan prioritizes a highly effective, culturally competent workforce.
World Language Proficiency Certification
FCPS is excited that our school board offers an incentive for employees who can communicate in a world language other than English.
A certified or classified employee in a salaried position who demonstrates language proficiency can earn up to a $2,000 stipend, and classified hourly employees can receive up to a two-level increase in the salary schedule.
