Supportive Mentorship

Teacher mentors play a crucial role in the professional development and support of new and less experienced teachers during the first three years in FCPS. Overall, the primary goal of a teacher mentor is to help new teachers become confident, effective educators who positively impact students' learning experiences.

The purpose of the principal mentor is to support and develop school principals to excel in their leadership roles. They provide guidance, coaching, and resources to help principals improve their leadership skills, decision-making, and overall school management.
