FCEA Student Scholarships

This scholarship rewards academic achievement, community engagement, and interest in pursuing an education-related major in college.

Any graduating senior in Fayette County Public Schools may apply if their intended college major is in an education field such as teaching, counseling, social work, school psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, school safety, etc.

We will add the application link here sometime after winter break. The process requires biographical information; a resume of activities, awards, honors, and community service; and an essay (maximum 500 words) on “Why Are You Considering a Career in Education?” We also require a letter of recommendation from a member of the Fayette County Education Association and the senior’s report card from the previous (fall) semester.

The FCEA Board of Directors selects three winners each spring, and each senior receives a one-time $500 cash scholarship.
