Family University
Family University (FAMU) is about building relationships and partnerships in service of student success. Our conference-style family learning event provides:
- Caregiver Sessions -- informational breakouts for caregivers and families,
- Youth Academy -- Enrichment activities for students of all ages, and
- Resource Fair -- district/community resources to help families stay engaged in their child’s education.
Date: Saturday Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Frederick Douglass High School, 2000 Winchester Road
Cost: Free for FCPS students and families, with breakfast and lunch included (Note: Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult.)
