Academic Contests

Our elementary students have two competitive avenues to exercise their brains outside the classroom! The Academic Challenge (for grades 2-5) is an Urban League of Lexington initiative in partnership with FCPS and Kentucky colleges awarding scholarships, and Quiz Bowl (grades 4-5) is a new pilot program this spring. Check with your school to reach out to the team sponsor/coach if your child is interested.
