College & Career Readiness Coaches

College and Career Readiness is the attainment of the necessary knowledge, skills, and disposition for a student to successfully transition to the next level of their career.  To achieve College Readiness, a student must achieve one of the following: Meet benchmarks in an advanced placement or International Baccalaureate course, complete a dual credit course with a grade C or higher, or meet college readiness benchmarks on the SAT/ACT.  To achieve Career Readiness, a student must meet one of the following: Pass an industry certification or CTE End of Program Assessment, complete a CTE dual credit course with a grade C or higher, or complete 300 hours in work-based learning. Our CCR coaches strive to provide all students with the essential skills and resources to successfully transition from high school to post-secondary environments.   • Freshman academies and orientation events
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) awareness and pathways
  • Financial literacy
  • Guest speakers bureau and Local Legends speaker series
