Transportation

FCPS provides safe and efficient student transportation from home to school and back, and for activity trips.
We emphasize coordination among our drivers and bus monitors, along with behind-the-scenes work of training, routing, mechanical, and safety specialists. Our bus drivers receive extensive training, their records are thoroughly checked, and all applicants are tested for drugs and alcohol use.

Bus Riders

Note: Families now MUST sign up for students to ride a school bus. Routes will be assigned to registered riders.

Before July 27, families should proceed with these steps to update student records so that Transportation staff can prepare routes for the 2025-26 school year.

  1. If you do not have an Infinite Campus account or you need a username reminder or a password reset, please visit our Campus Parent Support Site
  2. Log in to Campus Parent.
  3. Click Online Registration on the bottom right side.
  4. Click Start under Annual Update / New Student Registration.
  5. On the next screen, verify that your student(s) information is listed correctly and then click Begin Registration. Choose yes/no on whether the student needs to ride a bus to school.
  6. Move through the steps to complete and submit the form.

After July 28: Please see your school registrar for assistance signing up.

Once you have completed student data updates through Campus Parent, you can log in to our new school bus portal, which gives you direct access to your own student’s details. For questions or assistance, please contact your school.
