Whether your child faces attendance challenges, needs help navigating life or family transitions, or could use extra support staying connected to school, you are not alone.

School and district staff partner directly with families, students, and schools to remove non-academic barriers, provide tailored guidance, and ensure every student feels valued, supported, and ready to graduate.

How We Help You & Your Student

We work with families to address challenges early, before they get in the way of earning a high school diploma.

Attendance and Re-engagement -- Having trouble getting to school? We help uncover what’s getting in the way (transportation, health, personal challenges) and build a realistic plan to restore strong connection to school.
Credit Tracking and Transition Support -- If your student is falling behind on credits or transferring schools, we can help ensure every credit counts toward graduation.
Foster Care and Life Transitions -- We provide dedicated liaisons for students in foster care or experiencing major housing/life shifts, protecting school stability and handling seamless enrollment.
Mentorship and Connection -- We connect students with mentors, peer networks, and school programs that make school a place they feel they belong.
Flexible Learning Pathways -- When traditional school hours aren't working, we help families explore alternative options, including alternative learning programs, homebound instruction, and adult education opportunities.

School-Based Support

School Social Workers -- Located in most schools throughout the district, school social workers connect families with health referrals, academic assistance, and family counseling.
Family Resource & Youth Services Centers (FRYSCs) -- Located right inside our schools, FRYSCs connect families with basic necessities.
Family Connection Centers -- These district hubs offer family engagement, multilingual translation support, and wellness resources.
Campus Parent Portal -- Track your student’s real-time attendance, grades, and graduation progress from your phone or computer.

Futuriti: Find Your Future -- An interactive tool helping Kentucky students explore career options, assess their strengths, and connect classroom learning to real-world jobs

Attendance & Driving Eligibility (No Pass / No Drive)

Kentucky law connects regular school attendance and academic progress to driver's license eligibility for youth under 18. If attendance issues are impacting your teen’s driving privileges, our team can help you build an action plan to fix it.
