Wellness Committee

The FCPS Wellness Committee meets four times a year. The members include:

• Chief of elementary schools
• Child Nutrition director
• Health Services coordinator
• Sustainability coordinator
• Mental health specialist
• Employee wellness specialist
• FRYSC representative
• Nurse from Leestown Middle School
• High school parent/guardian
• Students from Henry Clay High School 
• Elementary administrator
• Elementary classroom teacher
• Elementary P.E. teacher
• Middle school health teacher
• Middle school health/P.E. teacher
• High school health/P.E. teacher
• School resource officer (FCPS Police)

And community representatives from:

• HealthFirst Bluegrass
• Kentucky Community Schools Initiative
• UK Active Girls / Healthy Women
• UK #IChampionHealth
• Feeding America
• Lexington Parks and Recreation
• Fayette County 4H Extension Office
