Families: You now MUST tell FCPS if your student needs to ride a bus to school.

• Our new routing system requires families to sign up. FCPS will assign routes to registered riders.

Updating your student’s transportation information is crucial for a smooth start to the school year. It allows our Transportation Department to have bus routes planned before the first day of school.

Please follow the steps below in Infinite Campus:

1. If you do not have an account or you need a username reminder or a password reset, please visit our Campus Parent Support Site. 

2. Log in to Campus Parent. 

3. Click Online Registration on the bottom right side.

4. Click Start under Annual Update / New Student Registration.

5. On the next screen, verify that your student(s) information is listed correctly and then click Begin Registration. Choose yes/no on whether the student needs to ride the bus to school. 

6. Move through the steps to complete and submit the form.

Starting July 28, please contact your school's registrar for assistance.

In the same process used to verify transportation needs (above), use the Annual Update tool to verify and make needed corrections to your household information in Infinite Campus (IC).

Starting July 21, you can complete the free and reduced meals application. Only one form per family is needed, and it only takes a few minutes.

This is a great support to our families but also provides funding and resources for the school! 

Follow these three steps to sign up a K-12 student who is new to Fayette County Public Schools:

• First, review the necessary paperwork.
• Then, start with online registration. 
• Lastly, call your school's registrar for an appointment to finish the packet in person.

Most of our elementary, middle, and high schools have consistent start and end times, but there are a few exceptions. Be sure to check the schedule to ensure your student arrives on time.

Most of our schools provide free breakfasts and lunches for students. The rest have meal assistance programs, based on family income.
