FCPS assigns bus routes to registered riders. The sooner you sign up your student, the sooner our staff can schedule everyone's bus routes.

Follow these three steps to sign up a K-12 student who is new to Fayette County Public Schools:

• First, review the necessary paperwork.
• Then, start with online registration. 
• Lastly, call your school's registrar for an appointment to finish the packet in person.

Get Started with Enrollment 

The Fayette County Preschool Program, which is designed for 3- and 4-year-olds, has certain guidelines and criteria for eligibility. Families may apply year 'round, and all requests go through the FCPS district office.

Supply lists for elementary and middle schools are posted on the school’s website. If you have questions, please call the school in early August or ask at their open house.

School Directory

Most of our elementary, middle, and high schools have consistent start and end times, but there are a few exceptions. Be sure to check the schedule to ensure your student arrives on time.
