Academic Contests

Our elementary students have two competitive avenues to exercise their brains outside the classroom: the longstanding Academic Challenge and the Quiz Bowl. Please reach out to your school if your child is interested in participating.

Quiz Bowl is for older students (grades 4-5).

Academic Challenge (grades 2-5 in two age divisions) is an Urban League of Lexington initiative in partnership with FCPS, community sponsors, and Kentucky colleges awarding scholarships to youngsters.
