World Language Proficiency Certification

FCPS values employees with multilingual skills and offers an incentive for those who demonstrate proficiency in a world language. Certified or classified salaried employees who meet the language proficiency criteria can earn up to a $2,000 stipend. Classified hourly employees may qualify for a two-level increase in the salary schedule.

Work Calendars

Each of our employee groups have slightly different work calendars. Look up yours below. All these calendars are subject to revisions and corrections at any time. When wintry weather or other closures disrupt FCPS work schedules, the Human Resources staff will update the affected employee calendars after the changes are approved.
