Hi, my name is Dana Moses and I am in my 14th year at Garden Springs Elementary.  I love being the School Counselor and getting to be in the lives of all of our amazing kids and families.  I am a military brat, moving 14 times before I graduated high school.  I have lived all over the US and even in Germany.  I have been in Lexington since college where I attended the University of Kentucky.  I have a B.S. in Family Studies, Masters of Social Work and my Rank 1.  Right out of school I worked in Frankfort for the non-profit, Kentucky Partnership for Families and Children, serving as their state resource coordinator.  I then began my school career at James Lane Allen Elementary as the school's first Family Resource Center Coordinator.  I spent 4 years there while getting my Masters and gained invaluable information.  In 2005, I was hired as the School Counselor at GSE.  I have a 13 year old daughter, Elle and have been married to my husband Dan for 17 years.  I spend countless hours watching my daughter play volleyball, going to the movies and reading.
