I am married to Joe Myers and have two grown children, Colby and Ruth Ann. All four of us graduated from the University of Kentucky and all in agriculture. Colby is married to Ali (Higgs) and Ruth Ann married Logan Layne in 2018. I live on a 127 acre purebred Angus farm in Mercer County that my husband manages.

I have been teaching agriculture for 19 years, 7 of them in Montgomery County and 11 in Boyle County. My areas of strength are in animal science and horticulture. Before teaching I worked in the horse industry for 18 years.

I am excited to be part of the Locust Trace Agriscience Center family and work with students at The Kentucky Castle helping them carry out their farm-to-plate initiative.
