Mike Jones
Head Principal
Mike Jones attended the University of Kentucky, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Education, including teaching certifications in Special Education Learning and Behavior Disorders (K-12) and middle school social studies. He received his Master's Degree in School Leadership from EKU and also holds a certification for superintendent of schools. Mr. Jones began his educational career at Tates Creek High School during the 1999-2000 school year teaching students with disabilities. While at TCHS he also served as a head soccer coach. In the fall of 2005, he was hired as an associate principal at Henry Clay where he spent 4 years. Mr. Jones began as head principal at Crawford in July 2009 and he has remained in that position for the past 12 years. Mr. Jones has two children.

Anne Piatt
Associate Principal
Mrs. Piatt starts her 21st year as a Crawford Cougar this year. She is originally from Huntington, WV. She began her career in education at Crawford in 2001 as a 6th grade math teacher. She also taught 7th grade math and math intervention. She served as the school's Administrative Dean from 2016-2019 and was selected as Associate Principal in 2019. Mrs. Piatt received her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education from Marshall University and her Master's Degree from EKU in School Leadership. She is married and has three children.

Ryan Taylor
Administrative Dean
Mr. Taylor received his Bachelor's Degree in History from Transylvania University. He received his first Master's Degree from Georgetown College with a certification in Learning and Behavioral Disorders and a second from EKU in School Leadership. Mr. Taylor has worked at Crawford since 2007, beginning his career as a special education teacher. He also taught reading intervention courses and served several years as the PASS teacher, working with students with behavioral needs. Mr. Taylor spent two years as Crawford’s Instructional Behavior Specialist/PBIS coach before transitioning into the role of Administrative Dean in 2019. He is married and has one child.
