ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL BE MADE ON CANVAS ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS at 8:30AM

LHS Academic Team Competes in District this Saturday, January 23rd.

The Black Student Union will have their first meeting for the 20-21 school year on Wednesday, January 27th at 1:00 pm on Zoom. The Zoom link is https://fcps-net.zoom.us/meeting/93940535186. This meeting will last about 30 minutes and we will discuss plans for the future of BSU. Hope to see all our members there and we welcome any new students who would like to join. All students are welcome!

Are you interested in intellectual discussions about important CURRENT social & political events? If you said yes, then Ms. Bolinger would recommend adding the ‘Political Science’ elective to your schedule cart for next year. It is only offered to 10th, 11th, & 12th graders. Please read the course description below:

Advanced Political Science: The course content intertwines political ideology, political philosophy, and governmental relationships. Heavy emphasis on national and international political issues. Discussion based course with substantial writing component.

It's not too late to join the track team! If you want to join our Zoom workouts or you're just curious and have questions about the team, please email Coach Davis (leslie.davis@fayette.kyschools.us) for more information.

A reminder that a live stream of “mindful start” will happen every school day (while we are virtual) at 8:15 a.m. Log onto harmonyinschools (no spaces) YouTube channel. Recordings will be posted later that day in case you missed it.

Need a Driver's Permit Verification form? You may request one on LHS website. Click >Student>Driver's Permit Verification Form. Until further notice, all forms are to be picked up in the front office on school days between 8AM and 3PM.

Alive at 25 classes are still being offered, just on Zoom! Students can still register by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on “Alive at 25” under “Courses” or by calling our office at 502-699-2995.
