Seniors! Prom is May 22nd! The Junior Class would like to remind you to purchase your prom tickets now! Tickets are $25 each and will be on sale through April 30. You can find a link to the ticket sales in an email sent to your student email address. ***No student ID is needed to purchase tickets; do not put anything in promo code box. Guest contracts can be found outside of room 211 and room 241. You can turn these in to Mrs. Guth in the front office. Follow @LafayetteProm for more information about the event!
Students - Get Free Trees! Lexington Urban Tree Canopy is giving away free tree seedlings (baby trees). They will be delivered to school on April 27th for you to take home and plant in your yard or neighborhood. Limit 3 trees per household. Seniors if you are still interested in purchasing a Senior Class T-shirt you can stop by Room 103 and pick up an order form. All orders and payments must be returned to Ms. Clark in room 103 by the end of the day on Friday April 16th

The YMCA is hosting a job fair for summer positions. Teens and young adults interested in working at the Y this summer as camp counselors or lifeguards are encouraged to attend a Summer Job Fair at the YMCA’s program site at the University of Kentucky. The job fair will be Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1530 Nicholasville Road in Lexington, KY 40507. Apply at: ymcacky.org/careers

THE COLLEGE PROJECT will be holding a five-week ACT Review Class for the June 12th ACT test. Classes will be held at the company’s office in Lexington and / or via Zoom. Classes will begin the week of May 10th, 2021 and are offered three different days each week to allow for flexibility. Summer Parks and Rec job applications are open! Deadlines for submission are from March 31st through May depending on the position. These jobs are for students starting at age 14! The applications are one-line at: https://www.lexingtonky.gov/prjobs
